Science in the Atomic Age will be used to teach a wide range of topics that are of interest to modern scientists.  It starts by describing our current understanding of atoms, molecules, the chemicals that are necessary for life, DNA, and cells.  The course then uses what the student has learned to describe the living world.  It discusses the levels of organization found in creation and spends time discussing topics at each level.  This course is intended for seventh grade.

A syllabus will be provided by the first of September.  The syllabus will let the student know what reading and lab work needs to be completed prior to class.

Berean Builders is providing registration services for Mrs. McKeeman. Your registration in the class is with the teacher and at their discretion for how the class is conducted and the material covered, not with Berean Builders. Please contact the teacher directly for resolution of concerns with your student’s class. Contact Berean Builders if there is an issue with the processing of registration or a payment.

Our 7th grade daughter took this course in the 2023-2024 school year and we couldn’t be more pleased. It was her first graded course ever, and exactly what we were hoping for. The text explains both creationist and evolutionist views, and shows why the evolutionist views don’t make as much sense. Our daughter was able to do all her experiments and lab reports independently, which freed me up to focus on homeschooling our other children and seemed like just the right transition step to independent high school work. Mrs. McKeeman is funny and gracious. Our daughter just loved her class “even though it was a lot of work!” We are signing up for Earth Science!
